Vin Diesel returns as extreme sports enthusiast turned secret agent Xander Cage in the first official trailer to xXx: Return of Xander Cage.

After sitting out the sequel xXx: State of the Union which featured Ice Cube as replacement Darius Stone, Diesel returns to the role of Cage, who is asked back to help stop a new villain, Xiang, played by Donnie Yen, who is attempting to recover an unstoppable weapon simply known as Pandora’s Box.

The film co-stars Deepika Padukone, Samuel L. Jackson, Ruby Rose, and Tony Jaa. D.J. Caruso helmed the film from a script by F. Scott Frazier and Chad St. John. The film is scheduled for a January 20, 2017 release date by Paramount Pictures.
