Two major upcoming films have revealed the first of their cast photos from the films’ directors.
We start with the Han Solo prequel spinoff of the Star Wars saga. Directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller revealed this cast photo which includes the new young Solo, Alden Ehrenreich;, the young Lando Calrissian, Donald Glover; Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, and Phoebe Waller-Bridge. They are joined by a certain Wookiee. That film is scheduled to begin shooting shortly for a May 2018 release by Disney and LucasFilm.
The second film? The Predator, which writer/director Shane Black (who starred as the doomed Hawkins in the 1987 original classic) revealed the core cast of the film, which Black has stated will be set after the events of Predator II, the Danny Glover-led sequel.
Boyd Holbrook (center), soon to be seen as villain Pierce in Logan, leads the cast, which includes (from left) Sterling K. Brown, Trevante Rhodes, Olivia Munn, and Keegan-Michael Key. With Black in the foreground is Jacob Tremblay. That film is scheduled to begin shooting for a 2018 release as well.
