It’s been a long time waiting but now the first trailer to this summer’s spin-off of the Fast and Furious franchise has dropped.

In Hobbs and Shaw, Dwayne Johnson‘s Luke Hobbs finds himself once reluctantly teaming up with Jason Statham‘s Deckard Shaw. This time, the duo take on Brixton, a villain who with a new type of suit, becomes genetically enhanced and who better to play that role than Idris Elba?

Vanessa Kirby, Eiza Gonzalez, and Eddie Marsan co-star in the film, directed by David Leitch from a script by F&F franchise scripter Chris Morgan.

Fast and Furious Presents: Hobbs and Shaw is set for an August 2, 2019 release by Universal Pictures.
