The Kosugi Brothers are back together in true form!

Shane Kosugi, the younger brother of Kane Kosugi and son of Sho Kosugi, the legendary Ninja actor of the 1980s, is making his directorial debut on a modern day “ninja vs. Yakuza” action film entitled SEEK with Kane cast as the main villain of the film with Kansuke Asano in the lead role.

Kyohei Aizawa, an assassin for a covert non-governmental espionage group in Japan called “SEEK”, is grieving over the loss of his girlfriend from a tragic plane accident. The leader of “SEEK”, Ryo Mikumo, contacts him for an emergency mission; save a fellow agent, recover a new highly explosive liquid called “RDX@”, stop a ruthless Yakuza leader, Sojiro Kotsuki, and his gang before they take over Japan. Although the Ninjas were thought to have disappeared…the new breed of assassins live on helping to protect Japan and all that is right; the Ninjas are coming soon.

The film is currently circulating in film festivals in Japan with a July 31 national release set and thanks to both Film Combat Syndicate and City on Fire with the amazing news. Should there be a chance for a U.S. release, perhaps Lionsgate or Well Go USA should get to release the film. In the meantime, all we can do is wait patiently for the release of SEEK.
