The wait is over…because this holiday season, “Slasher” is coming to wreak havoc in the official trailer for Destiny Soria‘s long-awaited holiday horror film, Christmas Slasher! In true 80s TV fashion, the trailer gives it a cool retro vibe!

“As the holiday season descends on the small town of Vixen, Minnesota, a murderous zombie reindeer known as Slasher unleashes a brutal killing spree. Townsfolk are slaughtered one by one—so viciously that even the hunters become the hunted.

Ten years later, the story follows Alita and a group of her closest friends as they travel south for Christmas break. Hoping for a nostalgic getaway, the college students retreat to the woods and an old childhood hangout, planning a weekend of hunting, drinking, games, and tangled love triangles. What they don’t realize is that this trip may be their last. As the group settles in, things quickly spiral out of control—and the horrors of Vixen are far from buried.”

Soria not only wrote and directed the film, but she will also star in the role of Alita. The film co-stars icons Felissa Rose and Lloyd Kaufman, along with the late Nicholas Brendon in one of his final roles.

It won’t be so merry when Christmas Slasher slashes its way on the Night Before Christmas! (December 24)
